A senior Nairobi police officer has been arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts following his arrest in connection with a dramatic kidnapping, robbery, and million-shilling extortion ring targeting online business vendors in the city.
The suspect, Inspector Kelvin Mwangi Muraguri—the Deputy Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at Drive In Police Post, appeared in court alongside his co-accused, Stephen Okello Obewa.
The duo faces capital charges of robbery with violence, contrary to Section 296(2) of the Penal Code.
